We didn't start LocalNichePro to build a software company. We started it because we were trying to build local companies—coffee shops, consulting firms, and trade services—and we hit a wall that every aspiring entrepreneur faces.
When we looked for validation, we found two very different worlds:
1. The World of Opinion:
We found incredible enthusiasm, inspiring stories, and "top 10 lists" based on intuition. These sparked our excitement, but they didn't always offer the concrete proof we needed to invest our life savings.
2. The World of Raw Data:
We found the U.S. Census Bureau—a goldmine of rigorous, high-quality administrative records. The answers were all there, but they were locked inside massive datasets that required a data science background to decode.
We realized there was a massive gap in the middle. We had the inspiration, and the government had the facts, but there was no tool to connect the two.
We built LocalNichePro to be that connector.
We believe that starting a business is an act of courage. It requires a leap of faith. But we also believe that leap should be taken from a solid foundation, not a shaky one.
